while not poison ivy (i think) i have these nasty vines in florida. these things choke out the trees. some are 6" at the base, not kiddin. i cut most of them 2 feet from ground, and the oaks exploded with growth. now the ground is covered in the vines (cut last season). would these remidies work, and any ideas on how to get dead vines out of trees besides yanking?

this is one of my concernes in compairing 4100 to tc21. loader specs. the 4100 level depth is like 6", while tc21 is 2.5.

maybe i should get that book after the fact. i can say take your time, and have plenty of money. i looked for 2.5 years and kept coming back to the same property. cecked on it during rain and flood. was realativly good, alitle low in the back so i barganed. i walked away twice at great risk, (as this was the best large prop on mkt) the last time for a year. i also had a great agent, went through 2 or 3. getin ready to trench my electric and phone. drooling over jd 4100. i could go on and on

in automotive aplications toe in should be 1/16 to 1/8. any more and tires go away fast. ya'll should check out tire scuffing on this site. it deals with the larger of the 4000 series, but it may be related. don't know yet.

does this serious problem exist in the 4100. would like to know before i purchase. i work with truck stering, suspension, lifting, lowering. this shocks me that JOHN DEERE produced such a product. did find a good deal on new 4100. would also like to say exellent site, most informative.

i am in the same boat. i have operated some large equip., but not a compact tractor. and ooh wee, they are proud of them tractors. i'm somewhat partial to the deere 4100, but with that kind of money i don't want to make a mistake. i am willing to go the distance if this is the last tractor i buy. i'm 28 with 4.5 acres. may be asking to much to add the new holland 20 horse? been lookin 8 mo. have not tested machines.
